Transforming Parent-Teen Relationships Through Connection

Empower, Connect, and Grow Together with Our Unique Camps and Programs

BridgeCamp featured on Good Things Utah!

BridgeCamp was honored to be featured on Good Things Utah, where we had the opportunity to share the heart behind our mission: helping parents and children strengthen their relationships through adventure, service, guided learning, and meaningful time together.

As families navigate busy schedules, constant distractions, and the pressures of everyday life, BridgeCamp creates space for parents and children to step away, reconnect, and build memories that last.

Watch the segment below to learn more about why BridgeCamp exists and how these experiences are helping families grow closer.

Recent BridgeCamp Experience

A summer camp experience for parents and kids to reconnect

BridgeCamp opened the summer with our first parent-child adventure camp of the year, bringing families together for a weekend of outdoor activities, guided conversations, and meaningful relationship-building experiences.

Throughout the weekend, families caught fish, crossed the rope bridge above the river, learned self-defense skills, spent time outdoors, and participated in discussions designed to help parents and children build trust, improve communication, and grow closer. The weather held, the families were wonderful, and the camp became a powerful reminder of what can happen when families step away from daily distractions and spend intentional time together.

UPCOMING EVENTS

What are the goals of the BridgeCamp program?

  • CONNECTION

Learn how to develop positive relationships with parents, children, siblings, friends, classmates, and coworkers.

  • COMMUNICATION

Discover how to positively express emotions, needs, frustrations, and other complex thoughts and emotions.

  • CHOICE

Learn methods and techniques to make consistently positive, impactful choices, both as individuals and family groups.

How are these goals achieved?

Our years of experience have helped us create three pillars that help parents connect with their children.

Learning Together

As we inevitably rise and fall throughout life; our experiences create a continuous learning opportunity. No matter the relationship between a parent and teen, shared learning is inevitable, let’s make sure the experience is a net positive.

Serving Together

Service pushes us to see the world through a unique lens and requires emblems of empathy. Working together illuminates the notion that we can be a meaningful participant in life.

Adventuring Together

There is nothing more empowering than gaining confidence, overcoming challenge, and realizing one’s full potential. And when the journey is shared, connection is strengthened!

Hear from a few of our campers

  • Jason

FATHER / SON CAMP AT OAKLEY

“Bridge Camp exceeded my expectations! I assumed I would have fun being in the outdoors with my son but the activities, discussions, and the overall mission of Bridge Camp and the staff truly provided a way for me to connect with my son and others at a deeper level.”

  • Jared

PARENT / TEEN CAMP AT OAKLEY

“Everyone was AMAZING. Dennis and Whitney made everything so easy to be able to focus on being present but were MUCH more than "helpers". I felt like there actions, comments, and presence added so much to the whole experience. Dave and Dan were great at helping me work through my thoughts, feelings and emotions and I felt very supported throughout. I felt like I wasn't forced to do anything but encouraged to push myself out of my comfort zone. Lastly, Liz was amazing. I think the recreational therapy was the best part of the whole experience.”

  • Forest

FATHER / SON CAMP AT OAKLEY

“Bridgecamp was truly life-changing for my son and I. It deepened our connection and communication, and we had an incredible amount of fun together. The experience has forever strengthened our relationship for the better. The caring staff, excellent facilities, and delicious food made the camp even more special. We're already looking forward to returning next year!”
